How to choose a window film and how to apply it

Applying steps
Measure and record the length and width of each piece of glass you want to film. You need to take measurements to determine the amount of window film you want to buy. Add 15% surplus to account for losses.
Step 1
Mix with about 1 tablespoon of special detergent and 1 bottle of water to clean the windows thoroughly. This mixture can provide the correct pH for your application and guarantee final clarity. Never use a cleaner containing vinegar or ammonia to clean window films or windows, as this may damage the window film.
Step 2
Cut a piece of window film that is 2 cm wider and 2 cm longer than the window you plan to cover.
Step 3

Step 4

Step 6
Use a utility knife to trim the window film. Leave a 2-3 mm border between the edge of the window film and the window.
Step 7
Respray the window film surface and scrape off any air bubbles. Air bubbles will be able to press out through the space between the window film and the edge of the window.
Step 8
The window film should start applying within 30 minutes and usually fully cured within four to eight days.
